ATA Carnet at Geneva Airport
Geneva is one of the easiest Swiss airports for carnet users: the passenger customs office sits landside on the arrivals level of Terminal 1 and handles already-opened carnets every day from 05:30 to midnight. Exhibiting at Palexpo? There's even a dedicated customs office for that.
Passengers: the Terminal 1 arrivals-level office
For export stamps before departure, go to the customs office before check-in. It's downstairs on the arrivals level. For import stamps on arrival, the same office sits at the red channel after baggage reclaim.

Exhibiting at Palexpo?
The exhibition halls next to the airport have their own customs office, but it clears only goods for Palexpo exhibitions. For a robotics company exhibiting at a Geneva trade show, this is the most convenient stamping point.

The France sector
Geneva Airport has a French sector, but for carnet purposes the rule is simple: arriving on an international flight you pass Swiss customs first. You can't exit directly into France with your bags. Deal with your Swiss-issued carnet at the Swiss BDT office. Goods physically continuing into France by road go through the Ferney-Voltaire crossing (Swiss office: Mon–Fri 07:30–12:00, 13:00–17:00), where the EU import stamp happens.
Driving to/from Geneva instead?
The Geneva region's main commercial road crossing is Bardonnex (A1/A41 motorway towards Annecy/Lyon), where opened carnets are stamped around the clock. Details in the road borders guide.
